My new gtr 1400
Made a phone enquiry about a Kawasaki gtr 1400 that I found on the SMC website, was put through to a fella called Simon, I have to say that right from the get go I felt that I was dealing with a helpful positive professional, after a little bartering in the usual way we struck a deal that worked for us both. SMC delivered the bike today and it is in very nice condition throughout with full luggage (thank you Simon) and recently serviced, all I need to do is enjoy it . Isn't that a nice experience in today's world. I can highly recommend the service the people and unless I've been particularly lucky the quality used bikes they offer. PS I have been riding for 40 years and have bought a lot of bikes along the way. This has been a positive experience Thank you.
Poor customer service
Horrendous customer service, paid deposit on a bike changed mind after receiving finance agreement, called to let salesman know but he was off, left message with a colleague who said deposit would be returned .Got a call 3 weeks later from original salesman asking what was happening. Told him what had happened he said deposit not refundable which was never confirmed during deposit transaction. Was very aggressive talked to his manager who agreed to return deposit, that was 11 months ago still no sign of money! Would not trust these guys, Bikes are way over priced
Very poor service
Appalling. I sent my bike to SMC for repair following a fall at Cadwell Park. I was told that they would make it mechanically sound for £1500. When I collected it, it was overheating, not charging the battery and had a dangerous miss-fire in the rain. I sent it back. They had it for two and a half weeks. When I got it back, it was overheating, not charging the battery and had a dangerous miss-fire in the rain. I sent it back. It appears that there are more issues relating to the original fall than they had realised. They have washed their hands of it, but kept the £1500. The bike is unusable.
cannot repair my bike
i got mt brand new bike on the road on the 30th of December 2018 its already been in the workshop for over 2 weeks and i have returned it about 5 times i collected it today after it has had 2 repairs and it still has 2 faults i am now having to reject the bike using the consumer rights act as they seem unable to fix it i would not recommend these for a vehicle they do not return your calls appalling service
I've Bought 4 Bikes from Smc Now and have them take care of all my servicing and wouldnt go anywhere else. The staff are friendly, helpful and cant do enough for you. Keep it up guys, See you for my V4R soon
