Avoid them like the plague
Viewed a car on Wednesday afternoon and wanted to take it but still waiting for it Saturday. Finance company saying they are waiting for details from Car Store, Car Store say all sent. Prices non negotiable yet price dropped on finance. Finance figure quoted was and agreed, on application this jumped by £140 a month. Lack of communication. Defiantly not drive away in 30 minutes. Also claim to offer 7 day money back but after speaking to finance company they are not able to do it. Would not recommend

Purchased a car on 18/10/2019 a fault with the PDF came on on the 21/10/2019, they had the vehicle back for repair on 22/10/2019 I collected it the same day the same fault came on again 23/10/2019. They said it would have tog go to a main dealer and would book it in for 01/11/2019. They said I had to let them try to repair it again. on 04/11/2019 I discovered they had not booked the car in, they had just forgotten about it, they never call you back you have to constantly chase them for answers. On the 05/11/2019 I told them I was going to reject the car under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for being faulty and and not repaired within a reasonable time. Then they told me I could not do that as they had now booked it in for repair on 11/11/2019, they did this at 11.05 am on 05/11/2019. I have made a formal complaint to the finance company, The AA & Citizens advice. I wish I had never walked through the showroom door!!!
Do not buy from here! Terrible customer service
DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE!! Purchased a car from here and literally driving home from the store the engine management light and low coolant light came on. Car went back in for diagnostics and repair and was delivered back to my home a couple of days later. The next day the engine management light came back on! Fed up, i phone the store for a full refund as i'm REJECTING the car purely becuase it clearly didn't have a 128 pont AA inspection as stated or else these issues would have been picked up. Store are doing their best not to refund me the money even though the Consumer Rights Act explicitedly states that any car that produces a fault in the first 30 days , the buyer is entitled to a full refund. They've currently got the car back again to "see if there's a fault" before i can get a refund!! Their sales tactics are very very pushy and they'll get frustrated if you don't buy in to their extra services! Save yourelf the stress and do not buy from here or any other Evans Halshaw.
Don't believe a word they tell you
Poor experience. We test drove and subsequently decided to buy car in showroom with had price alongside the vehicle's details clearly displayed in the windscreen. We were informed by the salesman that the CarStore policy was to price cars realistically but with no negotiation. In other words the price on the car was fixed. Once we decided to buy the car the salesman spent ages attempting to sell various forms of cover, treatment etc, after which we were finally ready to do the paperwork. It was at this point that the salesman mentioned a price higher than that displayed on the car, despite having quoted the lower price on countless occasions earlier in our discussions. We queried this and were told that the wrong price must have been left on the car, and that we would have to pay the £400 higher price to buy the car. We walked away disgusted. Would avoid. Very dubious sales techniques.
Brilliant experience, quick and easy. Very happy with my car and the bit of work needed doing exceeded my expectations highly Recommended
