Avoid like the plague!
Sadly there isn't an option to give no stars! Absolutely useless after spending 6.5+ on a car with these lot within a couple weeks the engine light came on. We brought the car in 4 times for the same problem and each time we were told it was fixed yet within a 20 minute journey the engine light would be back on reading the same problem as every time. In the end we had car master take a look at it which was a hassle to get car store to pay for it waiting around for emails, (would seem no one knows how to use a phone there). Car master found the problem within 20 minutes and fixed it with hours (car sales repeatedly said it would be an all day job) so far so good with the car after driving it round. I won't be giving them a dime more of money and I'll also be making sure my family and friends don't either. Utterly useless! After sales and so called mechanics need looking at as clearly they aren't fit for purpose!
Bought a vehicle from here,paid for it then found there's a fault and needs a part,was told the part would take one to two days,After two weeks had a phone call saying that it would take a least 4 more weeks, kept calling the salesman leaving messages to be told he will ring you back no such luck! After service once money paid very poor, will never return to Evans halshaw

Sold a car I'd placed a deposit on!
I called this dealer on 18th May and spoke to what I was later told was their central call centre. I paid a deposit for a car and agreed a time to view and collect it. I travelled by train from Newport South Wales to Shrewsbury. When I got there at the agreed time each person I spoke to vanished. Finally one person came over and told me what had happened, that they had sold the car the previous day to another person and it was long gone. I then had to get a train back to South Wales with not even the offer of a lift to the train station. When I was in the showroom the person who spilled the beans apologised and said it was their mistake and that they would pay for my wasted train fares. He said to email my receipts. I did and days later they've not even acknowledged the email. I think they just wanted me out of the showroom.
Best car buying experience so far
Viewed a car here last Saturday and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was seen very quickly and even though the showroom was busy, there wasn’t much waiting around for the viewing and test drive. The showroom is child and pet friendly. I didn’t buy the car on the spot, ended up moving it to a closer branch a couple of days later. The transaction was smooth and the fee paid for moving the car can be used as deposit. The car arrived a day earlier than expected which was a bonus.
