  • Broken front forks

By Natalia R 19 Days ago

I bought a bike from them in August 2019. I rode it home and dropped it with my mechanic to be sure everything is ok. Next day she gives me a call telling me I am crazy to ride a bike that was clearly sold as "for parts". Turned out the bike must have been in some serious accident (not reported) as both front forks were snapped, then welded together and forced back into position. Had they snapped while riding I would fly and very likely end up dead. I was never told there was a problem. If they knew - they didn't care if I lived. If they didn't know - then they are incompetent. I gave them a call and they offered to pay for the forks. My main point though was to make them more careful about what they are selling in the future so that nobody really dies! In the end I paid for the forks and reported them to Citizens Advice. Upon later enquiry Citizens Advice couldn't tell me if any action was taken. So WATCH OUT FOR YOURSELF unless you want to risk your life.

  • Bike came without service and has broken down

By Simon R on 18 Sep

Unfortunately I feel like I have been swindled by this dealer. I bought a Yamaha YBR 125 Custom in June 2020 listed as coming with Service & MOT. However, when it was delivered the last Service record in the Service Book was from 2017, 3 years ago. I called the dealership to ask about it and was told that he 'had just done it himself' and everything was fine. I asked for him to put something in writing for me but this was never received. On top of that it took over 5 weeks for me to receive the logbook. Not surprisingly, after less than 3 months (and very light riding) the bike now just won't start, and I'm facing a pricey recovery. I obviously feel like I made a mistake for trusting them and now I'm paying the price for it. Not happy at all.

  • Nice bikes, lovely guy.

    By Sarah & M on 01 Aug

Sarah: Adam spoke to me like I was a person...I think all women will know what I mean! A genuinely nice guy who knows what he's talking about and cares about what he's doing. Thanks :) Mick: As an experienced rider looking to find a 125 to enable my partner to start riding, I could'nt have hoped to find a better machine for the price from a dealer that was straight and down to earth. No unneccessary blather, no arrogant sales pitch. Much appreciated. Would certainly recommend and buy from again.

  • Honest help for complete novice.

By Brendan H on 21 Feb

Bought a moped for my son. So impressed with the friendly and honest interaction with Andy. I must admit to not knowing what I was doing but he was really helpful and delivered the bike for us for £1 per mile which was great for us. Offered advice and is willing to give further advice on the phone if we need it. It was a big relief for me and my son. Thanks Andy.
