    After reading 44 excellent testimonials, looking at great photographs, and speaking to a lovely man, Peter, on the telephone, we made the 500 mile trip to buy a yellow mini. It was gleaming, inside and out. Peter, a kind, honest man, dealt with us in a respectful, trustworthy manner. We would not hesitate to buy a car from him again.

    One of the best car dealership ever no pressure any faults quickley sorted out bought the car and drove away within 2 hours. Alan very helpfull and Peter was quick to get the new car brakes done at the Local garage. I would never look anywhere else to buy my next car.

    I would highly recommend Peter for buying a car from - he was extremely polite and put no pressure on us at all. All documents were correct and the car was in great condition with very low mileage, all as advertised. He didn’t even mind when I asked for more than one test drive, he just can’t do enough for his customers. I have already recommended him to friends and family for buying a car from and I will definitely go back to Peter at Ribble side.     If I could give 10 stars I would. I rang Peter to enquire about a car after going to a national dealer (who were just rude!) I asked if I could view the vehicle and went to view it later the same day. No hard sell, he left me to look round the car on my own. The car was exactly as described and very reasonably priced. I can simply say, don't mess around buying a car from a big company. Come and see Peter and he will show you exactly what customer service means. Many thanks Peter (and the lovely chap who sorted the pick up) I would thoroughly recommend you to anyone

  • A Terrible Experience, Lies and False Advertising.

    I was looking for a Skoda Yeti for my elderly parents and I found one advertised by this dealer (Peter). I called to check that all the details listed were correct and he assured me it was a very clean car with a full service history. He even went on to say that if I didn't want the car he would refund the petrol money. When I arrived to view the car I was disappointed to find that the car wasn't in as good a condition as I was led to believe, there were numerous marks, a missing luggage cover and what appeared to be water damage on the ceiling. I then asked if I could see the service book and he told me that cars nowadays don't come with one. He then presented me with a printout of various works that had been carried out on the vehicle. On reading the printout I found that the car had only had one service and it did not have the full service history that I was told it did have. I had been lied to! A wasted five hour round trip and he wouldn't even refund my petrol money. BE CAREFUL!!!

    Jon, I apologise if you feel you were misled. As you know, the car was not advertised with a full-service history. When you initially enquired I checked the file and informed you that the car had a mixture of main dealer and Kwik fit garage service visits over three years (Six visits in total). You inspected and drove the car before viewing the service history. It was at this point that you felt the history was inadequate. As agreed, I offered to refund your petrol because you felt my description was not accurate. I took out my wallet and asked you how much petrol you think you were owed. You asked for £150 which I felt was a dishonest claim. I stand by my original offer and if you get in touch I will refund you the appropriate amount for your petrol. Peter
