Smooth and quick
So far so good, will be travelling from Cardiff to Glasgow to pick up my new vehicle. Craig was excellent and sorted me out a good deal. Now roll on car collection day
Dont expect much after they get your money.
Now that I sit and write a review about my experience I realise what a catalogue of errors there has been immediately after paying for my car, things just go completely downhill and they really start letting you down with disappointingly poor customer service. They will let you down at every opportunity as they are too sales focused. Since buying my car a year ago, which was a catalogue of missed deadlines from them leading to me being weeks without my car (they took my old one away for the trade-in on the first day). Eventually after getting the car it had to go back because their "thorough checks" never caught the fact the start stop function didn't work, which doesn't fill me with confidence. I would give them another chance as there was a deal for £39.99 MOT online and after booking at the start of this week online for today and waiting for them to call me back for an appointment, Classic them they haven't bothered getting in touch at all
Great cars but horrendous service department.
Car was in for warranty work,called them at 16.15hrs to be told,some one else is dealing with it and they would call me back. No call back so eventually travelled to dealership,arriving at 17.00hrs to be told. "We tried to call you but your phone was engaged" My phone has call waiting and tells me if some one else is calling if i was on another call,which i wasn't as i was waiting for giffnock to call back. They could have emailed or even sent a text but nope,never happened. Then the service advisor said "oh your seat needs to be taken out to check the wiring as we think that is the problem,can you get some one to pick you up as we need to keep the car overnight" 😲😡😡😡😡 No offer of a lift or a courtesy car, which any decent dealer would have asked,even with present covid19 restrictions. There should be an option for zero or negative stars. One not so happy customer.
Appalling, spend your hard earned money elsewhere
Rang at 12 midday Monday to enquire about an E class estate, receptionist told me all sales staff were in a meeting, fair enough. I rang back at 2pm, the phone rang for an eternity before I was interrogated by the receptionist wanting to know everything about me and my reason for calling. She eventually transferred me to a salesman. I enquired about the car, gave him my contact details and details of my part ex. He said he would call back in about 30 minutes. It is now 5.30 pm on Tuesday, over 24 hours later and no phone call!!! Obviously they are not in the business of needing to sell cars! I will now look elsewhere.
The stigma of Second hand car salesmen predominate
Bought a year old C class from this group [Stratstone] through MB Giffnock. Salesman pretty good but when we said we would probably just pay cash, everything changed. REALLY hard sell for all sorts of warrantys on paint, upholstery etc etc. This from some finance guy. Ended up walking out. Salesman rang me at home and I agreed to purchase as long as I only had to deal with him. I later got a snotty phone call from him saying he had lost his commission because I had complained about the hard sell from the finance guy [I had also said that this salesman had been very pleasant and helpful]. Is this my problem now? Since then servicing and stuff has been good. I note that the guy I complained about is still working there but the nice salesman is gone. It's all about profits!!!
