    Terrible, be very careful what you buy here

    Worst experience in 40 years of motoring. They delivered a completely unroadworthy carwith spongey brakes which failed completely within a mile. They took it back for repair, but the AA 4X4 inspection I then ordered found Poorly fitting front passenger door, absent door seals, poorly fitted rear bumper, handbrake not adjusted and adjuster cover broken, front suspension lower arms delaminating due to excessive rust. I rejected the car and returned the courtesy car to them (160 miles away) and saw that the car concerned is back on the forecourt. The only thing I can say they have doe correctly is pay back my cash. Although the AA 4x4 check, admin fee for changes to insurance, day off work due to failed brakes, cost of returning their courtesy car (they dropped it off with me when picking up the unroadworthy car etc have cost me a few hundred pounds. I will now send the independent report by AA to the local trading standards dept, and it is available to any autotrader staff should they w

    First of all we would like to apologise for failing to meet our own very high standards. Shortly after delivering the Dacia, sadly the brake cylinder failed leaving the car with no rear brakes. We immediately organised a recovery truck to collect the vehicle leaving a courtesy car. During the repair process discussions were had with yourself and a full refund was offered. However you wished to carry out an AA inspection instead which we welcomed. The AA inspection was completed with the relevant observations noted. It was decided at this point you wished to have a full refund, which was duly completed on return of the courtesy car. We will not be offering the vehicle for sale until a further workshop inspection and any appropriate rectifications are completed. Again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    A great buying experience. So pleased.

    I was very specific in my car requirements.The sales manager took all the details and found exactly the model, engine and even my first colour choice! He kept me fully informed with the search progress, and was always available to answer any questions. I am delighted with the new car. I had approached other dealers, and am still waiting for a call back from a so called premium brand one.... Needless to say I’m so I glad I took my business to Rayrigg Motors. The car was as new on collection, and the click and collect handover was seamless. Thanks to all the team at Rayrigg for a most enjoyable experience.
