  • In My Opinion

Where to start. Bought a Freelander 2 HSE lux, supposedly the best car that Land Rover had built to date. I purchased it 2 nd hand and it came with a two warranty and thank god for that, as in the 18 months of ownership and less than 60000 mile this car has had (not to mention previous owners issue) new EGR valve at 40k miles, new breather pipe, new rear wheel bearings, complete rear diff and new steering column. I cant fault that the work has been done under warranty the latest issue has left me furious. My car was making a knocking noise (Front end) which I thought could be the anti roll bar bushes or drop links, but they said steering column so replaced this, but in doing so cross threaded bolt and not tightening properly....car sounded like something was about to fall to pieces. They told me a new bolt was put on, but now it appears that the original knocking is still there. also the new bolt is not new so it makes me question everything, from the truth to quality
