  • Great dealership, great service

By Cynthia R 1 Day ago

I cannot rate or thank Silverstone cars enough. I purchased the car of dreams yesterday. I test drove it locally and it was smooth so purchased no quibble. However when I was on the motorway I noticed a slight problem. I called imran straight away and he told me to return to the garages and he would get his mechanic to look at it immediately. His mechanic assessed it and agreed there was a problem and with no hesitation imran arranged for the problem to be fixed there and then so that he was happy I was not driving it worried in any way shape or form. Imran is a lovely guy and his staff are great, friendly and genuinely helpful. I'm glad I chose my new motor from them. Just a little tip if you tell imran he does not look a day over 60 he will be super flattered. All the best car hunting.

  • Car not as advertised

By Sean B on 10 Feb

Viewed BMW 320d Touring RF05ETX, no coolant in the system, knocking noise on front end after being assured on the phone that no work needed doing to this car, rust and dents when the advert said 'good condition'. The seller got a bee in his bonnet when I told him about the problems and said "you're just after something for nothing". Avoid Avoid Avoid.

hi mate I’m very sorry you feel so strongly the way I spoke to you, but I didn’t say anything wrong, I was merly stating that you wanted the car for half price, you was offending me, but I think you were looking for a brand new one. If the car was in pristine condition , the car would be advertised for lot more money, I’m sorry to say that but I think you wanted a brand new car in a shape of a second hand for £1000 which is not possible for a 14 years old with 160,000 miles to be in a brand new condition, for the year and mileage of the car it’s in a very good condition.
