Lancia Delta Hatchback 1983‑1994(2 reviews)

You either love them or hate them, no in between with the Lancia brand, I love them.
Had several over the years, everyone of them has always got me home.
You get a lot for your money for a car of its age. The seats are comfortable although you need to adjust to the pedal position as they are close together.
The hatchback makes it a very usable car for day to day living.
The engine is a beast and with a little care servicing will not let you down.
The car drives as if on rails and can see off most at the traffic lights, doing this is not recommended as you don't pass many petrol stations, but it's fun, now and then.
Lastly, look for rust, if you see any run.
If you get a rust free reliable Lancia, treat her well and she will look after you and your driving mistakes for years to come.

Not as difficult to run as you may think, There are a number of specialists who solve most mechanical issues and fiat still supply parts, Practical 5 door hatch, pre emmision grading so cheaper to tax than modern equivalent. Only down side, my heavy foot and sub 20 mpg on a good day
