Ferrari F355 Convertible 1994‑2002(4 reviews)
Best V8 Ferrari.

I have had one (currently a '97 spider) and my wife has had 5 including this one.
Overall a 5* star car. It's jaw droopingly beautiful even when you have seen one every day for 10 years. It's as fast in practical terms as anything you could buy today unless you want a Caterham Superlight R500 etc.
Also it's a classic so our current one is worth now with 13,000 miles extra on it what we paid for it 5 years ago.
Servicing and running costs about the same as our Range Rover (admittedly petrol). We used to use it every day to commute to London, not with small children it's less regularly.
It's as practical as a boxster, not as practical as an estate car but that's obvious.
You also never need to buy another sport's car so it's cheaper in the long run and by and large pedestrians and other drivers think it's cool rather than hating you in a more modern model.
For the discerning car enthusiast!
A timeless classic

I've had two of these and wouild never consider upgrading to a newer Ferrari. Everything about these cars is the heart ruling the head. The styling, looks, exhaust note all leave me breathless. If you want to consider practicality, servicing and insurance costs, then go buy a Focus. But believe me. you won't wake up during the night dreaming of your Focus :-) I think after this Ferraris have gone steadily downhill in terms of their design - mabe the 458 will rescue things - who knows. For pure thrills, this is the best sportcar you can buy/

The Last elegant Ferrari

Drives like a dream, very tame until you put your foot down. The roof mechanisn isn't the greatest but still a pretty ,elegant car. Have had it 10 years and apart from servicing it has been bullet proof, still makes me smile when the lights come up from the bonnet.
