The Panamera is a car that brings Porsche’s strong sportscar heritage into the luxury saloon market. That makes it an alternative to the likes of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the BMW 7 Series, but also to sportier offerings like the Aston Martin Rapide S, Maserati Quattroporte and Mercedes CLS.

Porsche sports saloon now comes with a plug-in hybrid option. Can it deliver urban fuel efficiency while still providing thrills behind the wheel?
