Hulkenberg: I have a lot to learn

Nico Hulkenberg admits he will have his work cut out for him in his debut season next year. The 22-year-old German, who will partner elder statesman Rubens Barrichello at Williams, admits it's difficult to predict how things will turn out in 2010. "I hope we will have a good season," he told Eurosport "As a newcomer I will certainly have to learn a lot. It will be a lot of work. So it's difficult to say what is going to happen. "In 2007 we had the first contact. My manager received a fax from Williams in which he told me that I had been invited to test races in the winter months. Of course, I agreed and we went to England. One year later I became a test driver for Williams." Michael Schumacher has strongly been linked with a return to F1 with Mercedes GP, and although he wouldn't be drawn on the reports, Hulkenberg admits it would be "special" to race against the seven-time World Champion. "These are only rumours. Moreover, I will have to focus on my own thing for the next year," he said. "If he returned, he would be like any other opponent for me. With one difference - that he has been World Champion seven times! That would be something special."
