An Overfinch Range Rover Sport previously owned by Liverpool and England star Steven Gerrard is for sale on Auto Trader.

Gerrard is the only owner of the ‘09’ plate Sport which he sold to Cheshire dealer AB Motors ahead of tonight’s England game against Croatia.

The attacking midfielder is expected to start against the Balkan nation at Wembley as England look to secure their place at next summer’s World Cup Finals in South Africa.

His Sport has been customised by Range Rover modifiers Overfinch with the 4x4 getting an interior leather roofline and seats with red stitching representing Liverpool’s club colours.

And the number 8 – Gerrard’s Liverpool shirt number – has been stitched into the headrest – making this an ideal car for a Reds and Stevie G fan.

Under the bonnet of the Range Rover Sport is a 3.6-litre V8 diesel engine which has had the full Overfinch conversion and develops 328bhp and 582lb/ft of pulling power.

When Gerrard bought it earlier this year it would have set back the Liverpool legend £79,995 – but it can be yours now for £59,994 through the Runcorn-based dealer. This car has now sold.

In March we had Gerrard’s old Overfinch Range Rover for sale with the off-roader selling instantly. The story went global, even appearing in The Sun on page three next to glamour model Keeley. 

He replaced the 2007 model with the Overfinch Sport, so we wouldn’t be surprised if he is spotted driving to the Melwood training ground in a ‘59’ plate Range Rover soon.

This is because Gerrard has a fondness for the famous British brand. In the past he has owned a Range Rover HST which sold on Auto Trader and he was snapped earlier this year with another model customised by Strut. His wife Alex has been regularly photographed in a white Overfinch.

The ‘59’ plate Overfinch is the seventh car previously owned by Steven Gerrard to have been advertised on Auto Trader in less than three years following these models:
