Live Advert – A live advert is an advert which has been fully completed and paid for by you and authorised for publication by us. After these conditions are met, the advert will appear in the ‘Manage My Adverts’ area.
Once processed and published by our systems, it is then visible on the Auto Trader website.
Please note:
- This process may take up to 24 hrs before it is fully complete. During the time an advert is still being processed you will not be able to access it to make any additional changes.
- Existing live adverts, to which you make changes, will also need to complete the authorisation/publication process before they become editable again.
- If you attempt to amend an advert which is being processed by our systems, you will receive a message informing you. Please wait a while and try again.

Deleted Adverts – a deleted advert is one which has been cancelled from appearing on the website or/and in the magazine. If you haven't sold your vehicle and wish to re-advertise you can easily re-book your advert from here.
