Nissan Micra C+C car review
The small hatchback derived convertible market is big news, and most of the major players have some sort of drop-top based on one of their superminis. Critics say they're often style over substance; eschewing driver enjoyment for posing and air-in-the-hair thrills, but they still sell in their thousands across the country. The Nissan Micra C+C is among the best of the bunch, with four seats, a decent boot and aimed unashamedly at the female market.

Nissan MicraThe fourth-generation Nissan Micra is bigger and safer but less distinctive than before. Since the Micra first appeared in 1982, Nissan has sold 5.65 million of them globally, so it’s an important car. EuroNCAP releases latest crash test scores
EuroNCAP has announced crash test scores for some of the cars about to reach showrooms, as well as some of those already available. Unsurprisingly, most cars have achieved the maximum five-star rating, but even so, some have proved to be safer than others.

Top 10 most reliable used cars for £3,000
The Honda Jazz has been named the most reliable used car for under £3,000. According to research by Warranty Direct, the Jazz is the car least likely to leave its driver stranded on the hard shoulder, as well as being cheap to repair if it does break down.

Nissan Micra hatchback (2010 – ) first drive
This is the fourth generation of Nissan Micra, a supermini which first went on sale in the UK in 1983 and has sold to over a million drivers. While many superminis have grown in size, the £8,995 to £12,195 Micra is still small, making it a direct competitor to cars including the Toyota Yaris, Hyundai i20 and Suzuki Swift.
