It does what it says on the tin but I do prefer my previous Seat Ibiza which was a TDI !! This one has no guts to it !!

Seat Ibiza 1.2 (AC)

SEAT IBIZA 1.2 S 5dr [AC] (Review date: 10th March '11)

A very practical little car which is well equiped for its price. It is quite nippy for a 1.2 and the cab is well laid out. The seats are comfy for short journeys but get a bit hard over long journeys. The fuel consuption is not great for a 1.2 it does around 43MPG on average.

cracking little car with plenty of go

SEAT IBIZA 1.6 TDI CR Sport 5dr (Review date: 15th February '11)

4.5

I bought this car for my wife as a replacement for her polo, I really wish I bought one of these first, it has all the gizmos, a/c cruise control, all disc brakes and great looks. the fuel economy is good, average around 50mpg round town and nearer 65 on a good run. only down side so far is road noise on the motorway, although is probably mainly down to the 17" alloys( only £140 extra).

Engine is smooth and goes well for 1.6 diesel ( 105bhp ).

Nice Car

SEAT IBIZA 1.6 TDI CR Sport 5dr (Review date: 12th January '11)

4.8

Having had Fiat Puntos previous to this vehicle, it is fantastic, good mpg, not brilliant but what you expect out of a 1.6 Tdi. The only con i can think of is the gear box is a little stiff but other then that it is fantastic. Suits my lifestyle as i dont have children but have 5 door sfor every carrying passengers with ample room for comfort. The drive is very good, a little loud on concreate roads but so are most cars, however the large alloys dont always help towards the reduction of road noise.

Definitely better than a polo

SEAT IBIZA 1.6 TDI CR Sport 5dr (Review date: 25th November '10)

4.8

Having driven an Ibiza and a polo before buying I think I made the right decision. Although they are essentially the same car the SEAT snips it for me on driving enjoyment, performance and looks. I have the 1.6 TDI sport 2010 edition which had the upgraded spec to include tinted windows new wheels etc, and I LOVE IT! The 1.6 engine is economical (had 67.2 mpg from it) and gutsy, it out pulls a lot of cars with little fuss or noise. The engine in this car comes from an Audi, so it's guaranteed to last a lifetime, as is the interior- It is really well put together, not a creak or rattle at all. I am so happy with it, will buy another one in a year or so when I'm looking for a newer model.
