Fantastic small car. so much fun in the sun but not so good in winter.
Good all round visibility with the hood down but a bit difficult reversing with it up but helped a lot with the reversing sensors.
Fuel is very good if you drive sensibly but see it dissapear if your heavy on the right foot!
Not much storage but if you are looking for one of these then you probably do not have a large family.
As said, It's a lot of fun!!!

I love my MIni Cooper Convertible! It is everything I imagined it to be and more!
Ok, it is not the most spacious of cars and you can only fit three bags of shopping in the boot - but then spaciousness is not the point of a MIni. The clue is in the name.
The best thing about it is that it's very responsive and fun to drive. It's a wonderful feeling to be cruising around on a sunny day with the roof down -very cool!
The car is very reliable and has never let me down yet. On the down side fuel costs are quite high for a car of this size but then I do a lot of town driving/short journeys.

This is a real world review, no test track just everyday use, tried so many modern cars just yarning for that old golf gti feeling, good times when running cost was'nt an option, but times change, its now so important. I remember loads of low down torque that made everyday driving feel so rewarding, hilly Plymouth seemed flat, this mini convertible fitted with a genuine bmw diesel engine always feels smooth, fun and secure it just wants you to drive it! and drive it we do, still 40mpg cold urban and £20 road tax, ultra low running cost that makes this little gem a bmw winner.

I LOVE my mini (its my 2nd Mini) and am gutted that i must now get rid of it but with an impending baby on the way it won't be practicle for a pram!
So easy to park in small spaces as its nice and compact and has parking sensors. Perfect for running around the shops in and to the station and for shopping trips!!
On a sunny day there is nothing better than popping the roof down (all electronic of course!) and gliding around the Essex countryside with the wind in your hair :)
I hope my mini goes to a loving home!

Fantastic car

4.5
I have had a lot of fun with my car for the 2 years I've had it. It's been very reliable for me. So far, I have had no problems with it - hense my giving it a 5/5 reliability.
For me, it has been very practical. However, I don't need to use the boot for anything in particular. I have been away with a suitcase in it, and my larger than life suitcase has struggled to fit in, however since I don't go away too often, it's not been a major problem!
As with all cars these days, running costs are getting more and more expensive. However, only being a 40 litre engine, it hasn't been too bad. The insurance, as with all cars, is getting more expensive too, but it's no more expensive than any other car.
The drive is brilliant. It's very nippy, and can dart in and out of places very easily. It's a very enjoyable car to drive.
Overall, this is a fantastic car and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Mini Cooper Convertible, this is my second mini now, the first one being an 07 mini cooper which was very reliable, cheap to run and reasonable to insure, excellent service package from mini which transfered to the next owner no problem ( my mam). I then bought the convertible cooper which has much better technology, bluetooth, start stop and usb port. Great in the Summer, very powerful and economical approx 45mpg. The only let down is the amount of boot space, it can fit one bag of shopping. I now need a car with more room, that is the only reason I am selling mine.

This car is fun and reliable! Cute little car that doesn't look or feel cheap or tacky. Running costs are reasonable. The wind deflector makes an enormous difference definatley worth the investment! The sliding roof is a lovely touch for when it's not appropriate to have the full roof down. However the lack of boot space is an issue when it comes to the weekly food shop! All in all a brilliant car that is fun and cheeky!

I love my car, is fantastic fun, an excellent drive, like a go kart. I have two boys and it's not the most practical but I knew that when I bought it.
Noisy with just the roof half open (on it's sunroof option), apart from that though not a great deal of road noise considering that it's a soft top.
Would definately reccomend for a 'girl about town'...

A great, gutsy, head turner of a car!
Hood up or down the car ooozes style and speaks volumes about the owner.
The Mini still has huge kerb appeal and a unique edge - brilliant styling, great car for either running around town, picking up the kids, running mates about but equally comfortable on a long journey.
The costs (insurance, tax, maintenance etc) put this car ahead of the competition as the costs are minimal.
I would recommend this car to any gender, any age, any where, any time!
