I borrowed this car from my parents. After not being driven for 12 months it started first time! As a little run around its ideal for a single person or a couple. Space in the back is very tight so i wouldn't recommend it for a family although the boot is decent. Its a decent looking car and drives and handles lovely. Running costs are great, but i only used it to potter around in so fuel consumption was high.
All in all a good car, and cheap to buy!

very reliable car .performance is excellent.a very smart looking car.though very expensive on fuel.looks like a small car from outside ,but it is actually very specius inside.the car drives very well that you have to keep checking your speed ,otherwise you can over speed without realising it,the power steering is very soft..the car is ideal for me as it is small and i find it very practical,i use it every day to go to my work place.the car makes me proud as it looks very posh and im the envy of all my workmates, they think its a very expensive car,i am really happy with my mx-3

had this car given to me by my mom, she'd owned it for 3 years and proved to be very reliable. From a practical point of view i'd say this car would not be suitable for a family as space in the back is limited, especially with car seats fitted. The boot is spacious though, easily fit a pushchair and shopping in.
That said, she's proved to be a very reliable car. Starts first time, even in winter and only had to replace 2 front tyres in 12 months. petrol economy isn't great, but i do alot of start-stop journeys.
Considering the age of the car (1995) bodywork is ok and the gearbox is great, smooth auto transmission and handling is good too. She's a nippy little car, fast enough when you need it and easy to park round town!

Owned this car for 5 years and i can say it is one of the most reliable car in the world. it just keep on going and going as it should. not even a single thing went wrong with the car, not even a bulb blown in 5 years.
excellent in town, good on the motorway.
Economy is an issue these days with petrol prices reaching £1.30/liter as my one has automatic gearbox which is very good as well.
very nice to drive, looks nice and very unique, well if you see a mx-3 in my town its almost definitely mine.

Having owned mx3s since they first appeared in the mazda showrooms circa 91-92 I seem to have developed a love affair with the car. The exterior is curved and pleasing to the eye with the teardrop headlights and 2 huges doors it really is unique. At 1.6 it is not too thirsty either. Tax is midstream too. Engine purrs and starts first time every time. Only drawback is now I own an S98 I will never be able to get a newer model =(.
I would like aircon only as the sunroof I have never favoured. But reliability and economy is second to none. Find it a bit low for Mum to get in and out off......she is 77. In between owning mx3s occasionally I have downsized to 1.4s and even daring to drive 2.ltrs but have always come back to my mx3 because even though its not so often now but just around a corner will turn an eye catching beuatifully designed mx3 coupe to remind me why I still drive one.
