Best car I've ever had!

FORD FIESTA 1.25 Freestyle 3dr (Review date: 17th August '12)

4.3

This car has surprised me on so many levels. Love this car and it will love you. Wash, polish and treat for rust and the bodywork will last, service regularly and the engine will endure.

It's nippy, grippy, responsive, reliable, shiny and remarkably comfortable for a car of it's size. All that could make it better is where the pedals are as my ankles ache on long journeys (I'm only in my 20's so can't blame old age lol).

It's a small car with little space but practical for new drivers, small families or as a second car. Older drivers may struggle with the low seating position.

It is excellent on motorways not to mention city trips for such a small car it is remarkable how versatile it can be. The only car I trusted more was a Honda I had before (which cost me a lot more in the long run). All in all an amazing car that I have no plans of replacing any time soon!

Practical and reliable second car

FORD FIESTA 1.3 Ghia 3dr (Review date: 25th May '12)

4.5

I've owned my 11 year old Fiesta for 18 months now.

It's a bit rusty and some of the toys don't work as they should, and has 105,000 on the clock. But it starts first turn if the key, even in snow when it hasn't moved for weeks.

I have two small children that can fit comfortably in the back, but I'm doubtful that adults would have a comfy ride. My husband is 6"4 and there is no chance of comfort in the rear of the car when he's driving. The boot is surprisingly spacious, I can fit a buggy and various other child related items in it with ease.

It currently takes £45 to fill the tank and I get about two weeks (300 miles or so) out of that.

I find it quite nippy, and the seats are snug.

I'm happy with my wee car, but if a suitable Mini Cooper or a lottery win came along, then I think we would have to part company.

Used as runaround

FORD FIESTA 1.25 Ghia 16V 5dr (Review date: 21st February '12)

3.3

this car is great for use as a runaround. it is used for carting my two kids around town to meet friends etc. it isnt very often we take long journeys (every one or two months) but their are no complaints. The car was also used to clear a garden full of rubbish, it took a few trips but it handles it very well. When first bought the car was very slow to bite (the accelorater pedal was halfway down before it did) we gave it some TLC (oil water etc) and a new air filter now it runs near perfect. When stationary the car idles a lot. The only thing ive had to replace is a light bulb in the front. This car is ok to run very cheap on insurance quite cheap on petrol.

Sorry to see you go

FORD FIESTA 1.25 LX 16V 5dr (Review date: 18th February '12)

3.8

This little car has given us many years of pleasure; has packed many student belongings; camping gear and sports gear and helped through several house moves. For a small car it packs a lot in

Sorry to see you go but time to move onto somethingmore sophisticated

Simple yet effective!

FORD FIESTA 1.3 Fun 5dr (Review date: 7th February '12)

3.8

A simple and straightfoward car with no added extras- therefore very little to go wrong! Suits my lifestyle fine and much bigger boot than a lot of small cars.

FORD FIESTA 1.3 Finesse 3dr (Review date: 30th January '12)

I love my fiesta. It's very economical to run and it would be hard to beat on insurance.Great runner and very good for nipping round town or longer journeys. My son who is 6'4'' tall sometimes drives my fiesta and even with his long legs has plenty of room, though this does obviously limit the leg room behinnd the drivers seat.I use my car on a daily basis travelling to and from work, shopping, and driving my grandchildren to anf from various venues.I find the fiesta to be very reliable and easy to drive. I am considering purchasing a five door model just for the convience of being able to get child car seats in and easier.

A Great wee car

FORD FIESTA 1.3 Flight 3dr (Review date: 20th January '12)

4.3

Purchased this car just before Christmas and can honestly say it is a wee beauty. I use her mainly on short motorwat journeys (30 mile round trip to work) and she just purrs along with no problems so far.

Pros

Cheap on petrol

Nippy

Enough power for motorways but not a fuel guzzler.

Quite practicle for a couple to use.

Spares readilly available and reasonably priced.

Cons

Usual Ford rust problems. (Though not excessive for a 10 year old car)

£190 per year road tax as a high emission car .

Overall I am delighted with my "new toy "

FORD FIESTA 1.25 LX 16V 5dr (Review date: 20th January '12)

3.5

Very nice to look at,easy to look after being a woman driver. Suitable and quite reliable to get my son to school, and to do shopping in. Isn't expensive to run or expensive to buy. Does hav some downfalls as it is small and friends often do say they find it hard to get in and out but im not very tall. Iv had a few things on it to have repaired but nothing major. I would recommend the fiesta but only the model i drive as compared to my cousins who has the next model( 52 reg) because compared to hers mine is a as reliable as they come.I know i could get my moneys worth out of it over and over and because they are looked at as cars for first time buyers they will always sell.

I have had my Ford Fiesta for almost a year and it has never let me down, I would definitely reccomend a Fiesta to anyone. I have had it as a first car and it has been a pleasure to own a car as reliable as this.

Cheap reliability

FORD FIESTA 1.25 Freestyle 3dr (Review date: 19th January '12)

4.5

It is my second Ford and I'm not disapointed.Fiesta is smaller than Escort. But again I meet really good engine, always start at first time doesn't matter what's temperature outside.Fuel consumption is acceptable in the range 6-7 l/100km.

I have that car short time and since I bought I haven't any problem with.

I really like Fiesta's acceleration its suprised But don't like gear ratio and suspension it is loud and and hard.

I use that car for travel to work.
