You need to own a 650 at least once in your life

BMW 6 SERIES 650i Sport 2dr Auto (Review date: 9th April '13)

4.8

These cars are SUPER cars in every respect.

So comfortable , so quite , so relaxing .

We have been hundreds of miles at a time in complete comfort.

.Long trips 28mpg WOW from a 5litre V8 , i think thats amazing Servicing "find a specialist" better and cheaper

Now the best bit "THE POWER

When you want to make some progress these quite cats turn into a roaring tiger .The shunt from this engine is awesome and then theres the power button which makes this car into a real super car .I have owned three , a diesel mmmm that was a mistake went well but didn't seem quite correct somehow "for me anyway"The second was a 630 petrol , nice car and we really loved that one .At present its the 650i and this one is by far the best car i have ever driven

Stunning Prestige Car BUT DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH WATER IN A 6 SERIES!!

BMW 6 SERIES 645Ci 2dr Auto (Review date: 13th January '13)

4

Powerful yet surprisingly frugal on long journeys, comfortable (don't be tempted to use run flats though as the ride is noticably harsher).

*ONE WARNING*, the air intake on the 6 series is underneath the car near the exhaust. I drove through standing water, literally 6 inches worth and it splashed up. The water went into the air intake, straight into the engine, compressed and bent the conrods. New engine quoted at BMW at £15k!

If there's standing water of any kind don't risk it!

As for the rest of the car, by far one of the classiest coupes on the road and the second hand price of a 645 with FSH is an absolute bargain for the quality of motor you get. Flashy, powerful but not pretentious.

What a wonderful supercar at an everyday price.

BMW 6 SERIES 645Ci 2dr Auto (Review date: 25th September '12)

4.5

What do you replace a Mercedes SL with for an everyday car that has street presence and costs the same as a Mondeo? The search was on and it wasn't long before I realised the bargain of the century was a 6 series BMW. I tried the 630 but once I tried the 645 my mind was made up.

The soundtrack is brilliant, it cruises effortlessly on the motorway and on A roads at 60mph round bends with extreme ease and comfort, yet switch to sports mode and overtaking and suspension settings make it into a growler that flies. Blip the throttle and it sounds like an American muscle car.

It is difficult to fault, as I can squeeze 29mpg on a run, which is amazing for a V8, as it just ticks over at 70mph. The run-flat tyres last for over 24,000mls and Dunlops are cheaper at £250 each. Service costs are unbelievably reasonable compared to Mercedes and nothing ever seems to go wrong; touch wood.

There is a coating that protects the paint surface, so it easy to look after. I can't think of any cons I'm afraid except for city driving at 18mpg, so I use the train instead. A truly wonderful supercar.

Amazing performance just like a jagger

BMW 6 SERIES 645Ci 2dr Auto (Review date: 14th March '12)

5

Amazing 645ci, though 4.4L but like a jagger isnt it? I like its drive feeling and amazing sport system, btw, automatic fit everybody who like BMW, dont buy 3x, 5x, even horrible 7x, THE BEST IS 6X.

Why? What do you think BMW x1,x3,x5 and x6? Absolutely X6!

Secret for you, BMW company like the number 6, so the engine of 6x ALWAYS has the best performance and comfortble feeling, When I sit down ,i could hold myself up! I gave my 645ci to my brother, and i wanna buy another one, the first choice of me is 04 coupe, because the original is best...They need hold the market right??

A thrill and a pleasure ...

BMW 6 SERIES 630i Sport 2dr Auto [272] (Review date: 29th February '12)

4.3

It really is an absolute thrill to drive. (that's even before you have engaged the sport button).

I have owned many BMW's before and one thing I can tell you is that this car is superbly designed with driver in mind.

Once you are in the seat its like a 'cocoon', and the outside world is not a concern. But you can certainly hear the fantastic engine gurgle at your command.

The back seats actually fit a 'average' sized adult with no problems. Kids have enough room. Large boot space is a bonus.

Yes the running costs are high (back tyre £350), but not any higher than buying a cheap car which needs constant repairing. To be honest you make money to get thrills in life, and this is sure to thrill you everyday.

Amazing for a Diesel

BMW 6 SERIES 635d Sport 2dr Auto [2010] (Review date: 19th January '12)

3.8

You would'nt believe its a Diesel car, given the power the engine provides. This is my first BMW and I'm extremely impressed with its handling, tightness and driveability. The torque on this car is extremely impressive. Altough a little small in the back, its still comfortably adequate for my 10 and 12 year old daughters.

The best car I have owned

BMW 6 SERIES 650i 2dr Auto (Review date: 30th September '11)

4.5

I have never had a bmw before, my last car was a jaguar xjr, which had immense power. However after owning the 650i for almost 6 months now, and had a great experience with BMW Park Lane, I feel that this is a better overall experience. The boot is practical, the acceleration massive, and the cabin comfortable. I am already looking forward to the new model.

BMW 635d M SPORT 2008

BMW 6 SERIES 635d Sport 2dr Auto (Review date: 28th September '11)

DONT THINK ABOUT GETTING ONE OF THESE CARS, JUST GET ONE, I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, FOR A DIESEL THEY ARE BRILLIANT, HAD THE CAR REMAPPED BY DMS AUTO. 340bhp, 520lb torque AND STILL GETTING BETWEEN 40-45 mpg, NEED I SAY MORE. IF YOU CAN MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERY OPTIONAL EXTRA,IT DOES COST A BIT MORE BUT ITS WELL WORTH IT.
