Quality, Reliability, Economy and Luxury all in one!
BMW 5 SERIES 520d M Sport 4dr (Review date: 6th September '11)
Having owned and driven this car for 3 years now i think i am qualified in writing a few words.
In general its a great family car which can be used day to day as it is driven to and from work. Affordable luxury which it is as most BMW owners would probably say, we have a small child so getting in and out the back without smacking his head off the roof of the car can be a bit tricky however there is plenty of space once your'e in. The boot is huge too.
The car drives beautifully as you would expect running costs are reasonable - a full tank of diesel costs around £90 and delivers around 550 urban miles and 680 motorway miles, road tax is £110 and insurance £600 so all in all very good.
If you want to look good, feel safe and think about how far your pound will stretch then choose this car.
I am selling this one to upgrade to a newer model of exactly the same car. BMW 520d M Sport.
2005 BMW 525d SE AUTO
BMW 5 SERIES 525d SE 4dr Auto (Review date: 3rd September '11)
Have to say the best car i have ever owned or driven , remarkably responsive whilst being unbelievably economical on long runs producin well over 500 miles on a full tank. Im going to miss this car once its gone :-( ! I had this car for over a year and half, whilst enjoying the luxury of driving this often taking my two young children to school , whilst also going on adventures up and down the country with them , it has served us well, being very comfortable and reliable. I would reccomend this to anyone wanted a car which is stylish , reliable , elegant and sporty all in one!
Wonderful Drive, Economical to Run and spacious
BMW 5 SERIES 520d SE 4dr (Review date: 2nd September '11)
Fantastic Car .Drives superb, plenty of power when required, and just eats up the miles.Yet it is so economical to run with almost 50 mpg on a recent trip to France. It handles like a much smaller car and is very nimble for such a large car.Servicing too isn't as expensive as you might think because of the staged servicing system that is used.
I fully recommend a BMW 530d M Sport
BMW 5 SERIES 530d M Sport 4dr Auto (Review date: 2nd September '11)
This is the second 530d i have owned, i am about to take delivery of a 535d. These cars are simply awesome, the straight six engine is smooth, flexible and very quiet, some may fine it lazy at lower revs but once on the road it is supreme with strong torque and quick responses. Very firm on 19 inch wheels but this just makes the car feel more direct, it makes you feel like you are in control with minimal steering wheel movement required. Nav is a little bit old school compared to newer technology but it provides concise info and has never given incorrect directions. Lower than expected running costs but shop around for tyres, expect £250 a corner on 19 inch wheels. Recommend seeking out a car with climate as the A/C is basic along with cheap switch gear but who cares, buy one of these and you will not be disappointed and your neighbours will be green with envy.

The Ultimate Driving Machine - Spot on
BMW 5 SERIES 520i SE 4dr (Review date: 26th August '11)
I used to laug at people that drove BMWs; My thought was that anyone with a bit of money always go for the BMWs for statement.
I made a point of avoiding BMWs all my life so I wouldnt be falling under those categories of people.
I WAS SO WRONG.
Their slogan - The Ultimate Driving Machine - its there for a reason...
i was test driving audi a6 a8's the whole day (fully loaded), and by chance i thought i'll try it atleast - that was it, i made my mind up. nothing else mattered - the drive is unbeatable!

BMW 525 TDi M Sport
BMW 5 SERIES 525d Sport 4dr Auto (Review date: 27th July '11)
Excellent car to drive. Really smooth and excellent speed from stand still. A real eye catcher, especially with tinted windows and being debadged people do look! Have thoroughly enjoyed driving the car and would recommend anyone to go for a BMW 525 TDi M Sport anyday... unless you need a 7 seater!
