Make sure all "recall work" has been done before buying
AUDI RS4 RS4 Quattro 2dr (Review date: 5th July '12)
3.5
I love the car and believ it is the ultimate performance, 4WD, Convertible, Family lol car you can buy. However have now had a bill for replacing the DRC suspension (audi design fault) and having the TFSI engine decoked (TFSI problem) Read the Audi forums if you don't believe me. Make sure all of this has been done or get an agreement that if it does need doing your dealer will cover the £6,000 cost!"

Blistering performance from the Audi RS4
AUDI RS4 RS4 Quattro 2dr (Review date: 27th March '11)
4.3
Having owned the RS4 cabriolet for nearly one year and I can honestly it's the best car I have ever owned. Superbly reliable, beautiful to look at and mind-blowingly powerful. Overtaking and cornering is just simple. The car is on rails due to the Quattro drive system. The short shift gearbox is a dream to use and the auto-sensing power steering gives great feedback as to what the car is doing at high speed. However, it is not for the faint hearted or nervous driver. While it is very easy to drive you must always be mindful that you have 420 brake horsepower under your foot and if you unleash it all in a tight corner (even at high speed) the torque is so high that you will drift very easily and very quickly! The ceramic brakes stop you just as quickly at the 4.2litre V8 will make you take off. Engaging the Sport mode opens the baffles and the throttle response becomes even more snappy which makes corners and straights things you simply see in your rear view mirror...
Take the roof off and the experience becomes even more real as you hear the engine growling out of the twin pipes and the wind rush is just awesome.
By an RS4, drive an RS4 & you'll wonder why the hell you ever considered buying anything else but an RS4.
