The best car we have ever owned

AUDI CONVERTIBLE 1.8 2dr (Review date: 7th November '13)

5

We will never ever sell this car, it is absolutely reliable, unbelievably low maintenance and such a lovely car to drive. Owned the car for six years and nothing more than a battery and brake pads, not even a single light bulb!. passed 5 mot's first time. Simply the best.

i have been driving this car for 12 years now an there aint much i dont know about this car at is age if your looking for a car that's going to be a classic here is wt to look for wishbone rubbers go every 8 years or so bottom ball joint as you have the arms off anyway on to track rod ends best to replace hole arm a garage will adjust them then, back brakes need winding back every six months as they hold in place and the disks rush up and break . if you smell petrol the petrol pipes are made of steel replace with copper standard pipe are 8mm you will have to replace with 10 mm copper , replace exhaust with power flow about 400 quid a standard will cost a bomb , fns wheel bearing will go that's the wheel that's take all the heavy cornering if you hear a little clunk in the steering chances are strut top mounts are gone , if you want the best out of your car drop it 40 mm it wont drop that far about 20 front 25 rear but makes the world of difference to cornering and in all she is a sports car DRIVE it like one and have lots of fun with out stupid electronics telling you you cant do that

Fantastic soft top...

AUDI CONVERTIBLE 2.6 2dr (Review date: 27th March '11)

This although now a slightly older model is a fantastic car. Its ride is smooth and comfortable there is plenty of room in the back for passengers despite being a soft top. The hood folds back ingeniously and pops itself away very silently and methodically. The 2.6 engine is a dream to drive-the power is there right beneath you.

Very relaible and a real fun car which is a real head turner when the

roof is down. Considering the big engine it is not noticeably thirsty.

Quite happily fits a family of 4 and dog in for a day trip!

I love it !!!

Fun car with an edge!

AUDI CONVERTIBLE 2.8 2dr (Review date: 15th January '11)

4.5

This is a brilliant car, especially if you are looking for something fun, sporty and big enough for the kids!

The ride is smooth, the performance is excellent. Reliable and spacious, lovely clean leather interior.

MPG is suprisingly good at about 25 around town and even better on the open road! Comprehensive service history

Large boot space, on this model the space is not limited when the roof is folded.

I call my car "the indulgence" - I don't need it but it's fun. Spend most of my time in a van but when the sun shines it's great. Downside is that the rag top is manual - upside is that, as I don't use it everyday, who cares!. Never let me down - goes through the MOT every year and has only had to have 1 shocker replaced. Bought it 3yrs ago and when I asked the vendor about reliability he just said "it's German" and was right.
