Free servicing for used Saabs
Thursday 07 July 2011
• Two years’ free servicing
• Worth up to £700
• “Market-leading” approved used scheme
Saab is offering two years’ free servicing on used cars bought through its Approved Used scheme.
The free servicing plan, worth up to £700, is available on all used Saabs up to five years old or up to 60,000 miles bought between July 11 and September 30, 2011.
Saab’s announcement comes just days after a survey found more than 3.1m motorists chose to ditch their cars due to spiralling motoring costs over the last 12 months.
Saab claims its approved used scheme features an industry-leading guarantee for a minimum of 12 months or 15,000 miles on vehicles up to 10 years or 100,000 miles, plus a comprehensive mechanical check and 12 months AA Assistance.
Approved used schemes are backed by car manufacturers, with cars sold by main dealers. They often cost a little more, but come with a host of checks, guarantees and warranties for added peace of mind. Key features of approved used programmes include:
• Guaranteed mileage
• Confirmation the car hasn’t been stolen, written-off or subject to outstanding finance
• Full service history
• Mechanical tests with appropriate warranty cover
Auto Trader currently lists 4,500 used Saabs for sale and more information on new Saab models is available in Auto Trader’s New Car area.
