Vauxhall Insignia ecoFLEX• New diesel ecoFLEX emits 115g/km
• Petrol ecoFLEX emits 129g/km
• Prices from £18,680

The Vauxhall Insignia is now available with emissions as low as 115g/km of CO2, making it a more attractive choice for business and private buyers alike.

With such low emissions, the Insignia ecoFLEX diesel is the first model in the line-up to fall into the lowest Benefit-In-Kind tax band of 13 per cent – territory occupied by cars including the Toyota Prius.

Vauxhall’s 1.4-litre Turbo petrol model has also been improved and qualifies for 15 per cent BIK tax. It emits 129g/km of CO2 and averages 51.4mpg.

Improvements to the 2-litre diesel ecoFLEX have been achieved with start and stop technology, aerodynamic improvements and low rolling resistance tyres. Available with either 128 or 159bhp, acceleration from rest to 60mph takes 10.4 and 8.9 seconds respectively.

Prices start from £20,345 for the sub-120g/km diesel and go up to £29,385, while the petrol model costs from £18,680 to £27,110. Updated 18-inch alloy wheels and sat-nav are also available.
