Easter is a great time to hit the showrooms, kick some tyres and take advantage of some fantastic new car deals. And to save you time, the Auto Trader new cars team have trawled the internet and spoke to the car manufacturers to find you the best new car deals.
Whether it’s free fuel for six months, free sat-nav or £7,000 off the price of a new car, there’s a new car deal below with your name on it. Plus, if you fancy reading an expert review on any of the cars you see below, simply click the highlighted links to find out what road testers really think.
Toyota Yaris with free fuel for six months
Order a Toyota Yaris during April and it gets free fuel for six months, in the form of a pre-paid fuel card worth more than £500. Choose the T Spirit trim and you also get free sat-nav, Bluetooth, parking sensors, air-con and 15-inch alloy wheels as well.
Vauxhall celebrates a great British occassion
To celebrate the Royal Wedding, Vauxhall has offers on eight of its models bought before the end of April. Buy a Vauxhall Astra Sport Hatch Sri 1.6i for £11,995 and you’ll save a massive £7,060. The outgoing Astra 5dr Active 1.6i is the same price, saving you £6,520. The new Vauxhall Astra Exclusiv 1.4i is available for £12,995, a saving of £3,360. Discounts of more than £2,400 are also available to customers considering an Agila S 1.0i, new Corsa S 1.0i ecoFLEX, new Meriva S 1.4i, Zafira Life 1.6i and Insignia Exclusiv 1.8i.
Free upgrades on Audi A3 and Audi A4
Choose an Audi A3 SE model with a 1.8 petrol, 2.0 TFSI or 2.0 TDI diesel engine and you can upgrade to Sport trim for free. This adds 17-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension, Concert radio with aux-in socket and a three-spoke multi-functional leather steering wheel on the house. Choose a 1.6-litre petrol A3 Technik model and for £300 more than a standard A3 you get a trip computer, 17-inch alloys, enhanced stereo, multi-functional steering wheel, iPod connection and Bluetooth.
Alternatively, executives can upgrade their Audi A4 2.0 TDI or 3.0 TDI from SE to Technik trim-level free of charge. For a further £895, you can get the equivalent of £2,500 worth of extra kit, including leather upholstery, sat-nav, iPod connection and parking guidance with visual and acoustic warnings.
Free appearance pack on Ford Focus and Ford Kuga
Buy the Ford Kuga or all-new Ford Focus Zetec before June 30 and you will get a free Appearance Pack. The appearance pack consists of aluminium roof rails and tinted windows, plus Bluetooth with voice control and a USB connection is thrown in too.
SEAT Ibiza and Leon Copa editions
‘Copa’ – pronounced ‘Coppah’ – is Spanish for Cup, and you may feel like celebrating after seeing what’s available with the SEAT Ibiza and Leon Copa special editions. Choose the 1.4-litre petrol or 1.2-litre TDI Ibiza Copa and you get upgraded 16-inch wheels, climate control with chilled glovebox, auto lights and wipers, tinted rear windows, leather steering wheel and gear gaiter a dimming rear mirror and enhanced upholstery for no extra cost. Even more free kit is available on the S and SE Copa Leon special editions, with highlights like cruise control, sat-nav and parking sensors.
Peugeot money-off deals
Peugeot is offering its 308 Envy hatchback for £13,385, saving customers £3,210, while the 107 Urban Lite city car is only £6,750 with a £1,945 discount. The Peugeot 207 Access supermini comes with a £500 saving. Buy a 3008 or 5008 MPV with Peugeot Finance and they will contribute £750 towards the deposit. Ker-ching.
BMW offers complimentary upgrades
Several BMW models are available with complimentary specification upgrades. Did you know that the awesome BMW M3 sports Saloon, Coupe and Convertible are now available with the seven-speed M DCT automatic gearbox for no extra cost over the manual? The 1-Series gets a free BMW Professional Radio and Bluetooth upgrade, while buyers of the 3-Series Saloon can enjoy the Visibility Package with auto lights, wipers and adaptive Xenon headlights. The 3-Series Coupe and Convertible, Z4 and 5-Series GT get free sat-nav. X5 and X6 buyers get a free Media package upgrade with Bluetooth, BMW Assist, DAB digital radio, sat-nav and USB connection.
Nissan is promoting Advantage Nissan, a package which offers three years of free or low cost servicing depending on the model, three years roadside assistance and three years of low rate finance on its Pixo, Micra, Note, Juke, Qashqai, X-Trail, Navara, Pathfinder and 370Z.
Hyundai Trade and Upgrade
Hyundai has a scheme called Trade and Upgrade, which is similar to the old government scrappage scheme. If you trade in a seven to 10-year old car for a new Hyundai they’ll give you a minimum of £1,500. There’s also £1,200 off the i10 Active 1.2 city car, £1,450 off the price of the i20 Classic 1.2 supermini and £2,585 discount on the i30 Classic 1.4 hatchback.
Proton helps with your deposit
Order a Proton through its finance scheme and up to £1,200 can be paid towards your deposit. That’s between £500 and £700 towards the dual-fuel petrol and LPG Proton ecologic, £750 towards the GEN-2 hatchback and £1,200 for the GEN-2 Persona.
