Toyota Verso-S MPV to debut at Paris
Thursday 02 September 2010
The Toyota Verso-S will be unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show on September 30, introducing Toyota into the mini MPV class.
At less than four metres long, the Toyota Verso-S will be shorter than the new Mini Countryman, Peugeot 3008 and Ford C-Max.
Despite this, flexible seating should offer plenty of interior space for five adults and their luggage.
It will be available with Toyota’s hybrid technology – as seen in the Prius and Auris HSD – making it the first MPV on sale in the UK which can drive using petrol, electric or a combination of both.
The Verso-S gets a sporty look thanks to deep bumpers and side skirts, door-mounted mirrors, a rear spoiler and alloy wheels. It also features black door pillars for a wrap-around glass effect and range-topping models will feature a huge panoramic sunroof.
Toyota IQ and Aygo
Toyota will also debut a revised IQ at Paris 2010, with improved interior materials. There are changes for the popular Toyota Aygo too, with a new colour scheme and much-needed multimedia system to keep tech-savvy buyers happy.
