Last chance to buy a new Mazda RX-8

Only 100 new Mazda RX-8s are available in the UK as production at its Japanese factory has now come to an end.
All remaining cars are 2010 RX-8 R3 models, priced at £25,540 and fitted with Mazda’s 228bhp rotary engine.
Acceleration from 0-62mph takes just 6.4 seconds, yet innovative rear-opening side doors means there is still room for four occupants inside the sports coupe.
The R3 specification RX-8 is fitted with Recaro front sports seats, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, Bluetooth connectivity and a Bose stereo with amplifier, 6CD autochanger, nine speakers and AUX input.
Until September 30, Mazda is offering private buyers a no deposit finance deal, with a typical 5.9% APR on Mazda Conditional Sale and Mazda Personal Contract Purchase for up to 36 months.
It’s the RX-8’s combination of looks, performance and practicality which have helped it rack up more than 180,000 sales worldwide since it went on sale in 2003, with 26,000 finding homes in the UK.
It’s not know what Mazda’s replacement for the RX-8 will be, but an announcement is expected in the coming months.
