What is Trader Link and who uses it?

Trader Link is an on-line system connecting trade buyers and trade sellers to the largest collection of trade stock in one place anywhere in the UK.

Trader Link operates a strict trade only policy. All applicants are thoroughly checked to ensure they are active members of the UK motor trade prior to a user name and password being issued.

Cars advertised on Trader Link cannot be viewed by the general public.

 Trader Link looks to enhance 3 crucial elements of your day-to-day business:
  • ‘Urgent Trade Disposal’ Alert System
    If you have a car that you want to dispose of quickly Trader Link provides you with the ability to not only reduce the hassle of selling such cars but also help ensure you get best price into the bargain.

    Place an ‘Urgent Trade Disposal’ advertisement on Trader Link and the system immediately checks a database of over 12,000 dealers in the UK and issues your car and contact details by fax, e-mail and even text message to those that will be most interested in buying it.

    All you have to do is sit back and wait for your ‘phone to ring.

  • Trade Stock Locator
    Buying stock can be both time consuming and frustrating. Whether you are looking for a specific car or simply stock replacement, it is likely to involve searching through auction lists, remarketing / trade sales web sites and faxes or spending time on the phone and on the road.

    Trader Link simplifies this process dramatically by offering the largest selection of trade stock in one place anywhere in the UK. As a registered user you can search all stock with a single search, giving you the best chance of finding the stock you need quickly. When you locate a car you are interested in the sellers contact details are there for you to use - we do not take a commission or make a charge. Your subscription is all you pay.

    However, Trader Link doesn’t stop there. We realise that you may not even have the time to search for stock on Trader Link. So you can register detail of the car(s) you wish to source - defining Make, Model, Age, Mileage and of course Price ranges. As and when new cars become available that match your requirements Trader Link will send an alert directly to your e-mail, fax or mobile phone by text message! You have the information and contact detail at your fingertips and away you go.

    It’s simple and keeps you in touch with new stock you might be interested in every minute of the day.

  • Trade Seller
    Do you suffer with over-age stock, take cars in part exchange that don’t match your preferred stock profile or perhaps just have too many example of one particular model? As a registered Trader Link user you can place your own trade advertisements, viewable by every other Trader Link user nationwide.

You will be viewing pages of stock within seconds of logging on and our detailed search engine allows you to dedicate your search to specific makes and models, even defining age, price and mileage ranges.

Placing an advert couldn’t be easier and any cars you place on Trader Link will be visible to all other Trader Link users within minutes.

How do I gain access to Trader Link?

How do I know the stock advertised is described correctly?
Trader Link has a strict policy regarding fraudulent advertising through the site.

The vast majority of dealings are professional and honest. That said, we do recognise this as a potential area of concern for any buyer and have therefore developed a facility through which you can report anyone that appears to be consistently mis-describing vehicles on the site.
