All-new Ford Focus range revealed

The new Ford Focus will have electronic stability programme as standard when it goes on sale in January, with prices starting from £11,945. Every Ford Focus which hits the forecourts will have ESP fitted, a system designed to steady a car when it skids. The Ford Focus range includes the Studio, Style, Zetec, Titanium and ST specifications. All cars are equipped with anti-lock brakes, four airbags, electric front windows, CD player and central locking as standard. Style trim, from £13,445 adds body coloured side mirrors and door handles, larger wheels, front fog lamps, air conditioning, remote audio controls, trip computer, leather steering wheel and remote central locking. Zetec trim cars, from £14,695 have 16-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension, sports seats, ‘Quickclear’ heated front windscreen, perimeter alarm, rear spoiler and an upgraded centre console. The top-of-the-range Ford Focus Titanium starts at £15,445 and has privacy glass, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming rear view mirror, Sony CD hi-fi, electric rear windows, cooled glovebox, aluminium scuff plates and footwell lighting. The coupe-cabriolet and hot ST models will go on sale a few months after the rest of the range. The Focus is available with five and six speed manual gearboxes, a conventional automatic or an all-new dual-clutch automated gearbox.
