Live Pre-Budget report: Fuel duty up

Live Pre-Budget report: Fuel duty up - News image

24 November 2008

Auto Trader is reporting live on Chancellor Alastair Darling’s Pre-Budget Report and we want your views on the big developments.

Over the next hour-and-a-half we’ll give you all the big news as it happens from the Houses of Parliament via our live blog.

And you can air your views on whether the Government is doing enough to help Britain’s motorists during these tough times.

We’re anticipating a postponement on the road tax increase for cars built after 2001, a freeze on the proposed fuel duty increase and the rate of VAT being reduced from 17.5% to 15% - all announcements which should put a smile on the face of Britain’s beleaguered motorists.
