A BMW Z3 previously owned by Declan Donnelly – one half of comedy duo ‘Ant & Dec’ – is for sale on Auto Trader.

Declan Donnelly – who began his acting career in popular children’s soap ‘Byker Grove’ at just 12 years old – was the first owner of this 1999 BMW Z3.

Declan Donnelly met his ‘TV partner’ – Ant McPartlin – on the set, and the pair would star together as the popular ‘PJ and Duncan’.

And under this Byker Grove guise, ‘PJ and Duncan’ released a number of singles including the 1994 Top Ten hit “Let’s Get Ready To Rumble”.

But more recently the Geordie duo landed in hot water – after dodging a missile attack following a surprise visit to war-torn Afghanistan.

The duo were visiting soldiers when a Taliban fighter fired a rocket propelled grenade.

Speaking in The Sun, 33 year-old Declan said: “One minute everything was calm and the next the sirens were wailing.”

Dec’s old BMW Z3 – which he bought in June 1999, is one of the world’s most iconic sportscars, and starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in the 1995 James Bond film ‘GoldenEye’.

The Z3 is fitted with a 1.9-litre engine producing 140bhp, and has covered just 41,500 miles with a full service history.

Dec’s old BMW Z3 also gets black ‘Dakota’ leather, tailored carpet mats and electric sports seats.
