Yellow fever: Alfa 8C makes us unwell

We love the Alfa 8C Competizione – it’s pretty much as close to design perfection as you can get in red or black.
But in yellow, it just doesn’t look right at all.
It’s not meant to be brash and outrageous like a Lamborghini Murcielago, it’s meant to be elegant and beautiful like, er, an Alfa.
This rare model on website ExoticsOnRoad makes us ever so slightly nauseous.
We understand just five of the 500 8C Competiziones built are this colour of which one is for sale in Germany, for £198,000.
When the Alfa 8C was announced in 2007, the 41 UK-bound models were quickly snapped up.
However, Auto Trader has one of these future classics for sale in stunning red – for £169,995.
