Renault’s new coupe-convertible – which debuted at this year’s Geneva Motor Show – features two seats, engines from the Renault Twingo and a folding electric roof which will open in 12 seconds.
Drivers have a choice of two engines:
• 1.2-litre TCE 100 (99bhp, 0-62mph in 9.8 seconds and a top speed of 125mph)
• 1.6-litre 133 (131bhp, 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds and a top speed of 125mph)
Renault claims fuel economy and CO2 emissions are set at 44.8mph and 145g/km for the 1.2-litre engine and 40.3mpg and 165g/km for the top-of-the-range 1.6-litre.
The entry-level Dynamique offers 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, front fog lights, an electric retractable hard top and sport seats as standard.
For a £900 premium, Dynamique S adds 2x35W radio CD MP3 reader with fingertip remote control, auto lights and wipers, Bluetooth connectivity and upgrades the alloys to 17-inches.
