Cadillac has launched its first ever estate in the company’s century-old history – the all new BLS Wagon.

Available with a choice of two diesel engines and four petrol variants – including a new 180bhp ‘high-power’ diesel and 200bhp petrol-bioethanol hybrid – the all new Cadillac BLS Wagon is looking to build on the company’s luxury tradition.

Each Cadillac BLS Wagon will come with a host of luxury equipment as standard, including leather upholstery, powered and heated front seats, an 11-speaker BOSE surround sound stereo, DVD satellite navigation and dual zone climate control.

The big Caddy’s credentials are hoping to stack up to BMW, Mercedes and Audi’s estate offerings, with used residual values expected to be high.

Jonathan Nash of Cadillac said: “We looked at what the current UK market and consumers would expect from a Cadillac and then added all the equipment to match those specifications.

“We are convinced the 2008 Cadillac BLS line up, with its distinctive styling and relative exclusivity, will be a uniquely persuasive proposition to drivers.”

The 2008 Cadillac BLS Wagon comes with nearly £4,000 worth of extra equipment as standard, with prices for the new Wagon starting at £21,495 for the 175bhp petrol and 150bhp diesel models.
