New Audi A5 Sportback pics revealed

New pictures of the Audi A5 Sportback have been revealed.
Audi had previously released one teaser shot of the A5 Sportback, but has today announced new details to celebrate its 100th birthday.
The Sportback will feature a choice of 2-litre and 3.2-litre petrol and two diesel engines - one 2-litre TDi with 170PS and a 3-litre V6 TDi with 240PS.
Start-stop technology will be included in the entry-level manual 2-litre TDi model with front-wheel drive, making it the most fuel-efficient Sportback.
And Audi's Drive Select Adaptive Dynamics System will enable the car to transfer torque between the front and rear axles. This prevents loss of traction and reduces the effort required to steer through corners.
The 3-litre diesel and two petrol engines will use Audi's latest twin-clutch transmission to power the car with its Quattro all-wheel drive system.
Audi says the A5 Sportback is "as elegant as a coupe and as comfortable as a saloon" and blends the looks of its A5 coupe with the feel of the A4 Avant.
It will have a luggage capacity of 480 litres in the boot, expanding to 980 litres with the rear seats folded down.
The A5 Sportback also features climate control, CD player and split-folding rear seats as standard. The mid-range SE gets a leather interior, parking sensors and automatic headlights and windscreen wipers.
The top-of-the-range S line get a revised grille and bumper, 18-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights and LED rear lights
Cruise control, a blind spot alert system and the Audi lane assist system are available as extras.
The Audi A5 Sportback will be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 15. Expect more engine variants and new Quattro models to be announced later in the year.
The car goes on sale in October and prices start from £25,440 - with orders being taken now.
