Ford Focus Coupe Cabriolet: first official pics
The first official details of the Ford Focus Coupe Cabriolet have been released ahead of its launch later this year. Styled by Italian legend Pininfarina, the Ford Focus Coupe Cabriolet will have a three-dimensional bonnet design and a chrome-surrounded upper and lower grille, while rolling on 17-inch alloy wheels. The 1.6-litre produces 98bhp and 110lb/ft of pulling power while the 2-litre petrol engine chucks out 143bhp and 136lb/ft. For matching performance and improved efficiency, buyers might opt for the 2-litre diesel model which has 138bhp but also an impressive 250lb/ft of pulling power, while being more economical. With the roof up, the Focus CC’s boot boasts a huge 534 litres of luggage space and a respectable 248 litres when the roof is down.
The Coupe Cabriolet is the third model in Focus range to get a face-lift following the hatchback and forthcoming hot ST model and will sit alongside the saloon and estate in the five-piece line-up. The Ford Focus Coupe Cabriolet will be officially revealed at the Geneva Motor Show on March 4 before going on sale later this year. We’ll be reporting live from Geneva so don’t forget to come back for all the big news as it happens. View pictures of the 2008 Ford Focus Coupe Cabriolet Need help buying a coupé?
