Jenson Button's Bugatti Veyron for sale

A Bugatti Veyron currently registered to Formula One world champion Jenson Button is for sale on Auto Trader.
That’s right – the man who replaces Lewis Hamilton as F1 world champion and joins him as one of the ‘coolest drivers ever’ is flogging his Bugatti Veyron.
After all, when you drive a million-bhp Formula One car for most of the year, who needs a Veyron?

Speaking of which, Jenson drove said million-bhp F1 car to dramatic victory at the Brazilian GP in a season fraught with controversy, drama and a massive dollop of unpredictability.
The man from Frome, Somerset didn’t even have a job at the start of the season when Honda pulled out of Formula One. Thankfully, ‘big-brain’ Brawn (copyright Auto Trader) took over from Honda, restructured the team and set Jenson up for world glory.
An amazing six wins from the first seven races meant Jenson nearly had the championship wrapped up in style, but an emergence from the Red Bull duo of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber – plus a rampant Rubens Barrichello – meant Button had to work hard.
And – with hearts in mouths – Jenson scored a much needed fifth place to secure his points victory as the F1 world champion at the Interlagos circuit in Brazil.
But while Button might not need his Bug’ anymore, us mere mortals desperately do, because the Veyron is a celebrity superstar in the dizzying world of hypercars.
Powered by an eight-litre 16 cylinder engine and four turbochargers, the Bugatti Veyron produces more than 1,000bhp, accelerates from 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds and rockets on to a top speed of 253mph.
Button’s Bugatti has covered 1,500 miles and was recently serviced by Bugatti.
Here at Auto Trader we reckon as celebrity sporting endorsements go, they don’t get much better than one of the fastest cars in the world owned by one of the fastest drivers ever.
