This is the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Arctic Edition – a limited version of Vauxhall’s VXR hot hatch boasting a power upgrade and more aggressive look.

The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Arctic Edition gets a unique Glacier White paintjob, bespoke 18-inch alloys and a sports exhaust built by specialists Remus.

Other new features on the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Arctic Edition include an electric sunroof, dark tinted windows and a black-painted roof and door mirrors.

In normal guise, the Vauxhall Corsa VXR’s 1.6-litre turbocharged engine boasts 188bhp, but the sports exhaust has helped up the Corsa’s oomph to 202bhp.

This should give the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Arctic Edition a 0-60mph time of about 6.6 seconds and a top speed of around 143mph.

Just 500 Vauxhall Corsa VXR Arctic Editions will come to the UK, and will go up against the likes of the Ford Fiesta ST500 and Renault Clio Renaultsport.

But while the Corsa VXR is a hot hatch first, it is also a comfortable car with luxuries including air-conditioning, trip-computer, MP3-compatible sound system and cruise control.
