Vauxhall have announced a recall affecting 355,000 UK Corsa, Tigras and Combo vans built between 2004 and 2008.

The recall follows a Vauxhall investigation into a possible fault with the ABS anti-lock braking system.

This recall affects:

Vauxhall Corsa 3 and 5-door models built between 2004 and 2006
Vauxhall Tigra models built between 2004 and 2008.
- Combo van models built between 2004 and 2008.

Vauxhall are contacting owners of these cars by letter from the 14th December onwards.

Due to the large number of cars affected Vauxhall will recall vehicles in phases.

Once a customer receives their recall letter they should contact their dealer and book the car into their local dealership to have its ABS control unit and cover assembly replaced.

Vauxhall advises customers to continue using their cars normally until this time.

The latest Corsa introduced in 2006, is not affected by this recall.

Corsa owners who have any concerns about their car or the recall plan should call Vauxhall Customer Service on 0845 090 2044 or via email at vauxhall.customerassistance@uk.gm.com
