Limited edition Porsche Cayman revealed
15 August 2007 by Adrian Hearn Porsche has revealed details of its first ever limited edition Cayman - and Auto Trader has the pictures. Using the Cayman S’s existing 3.4-litre engine, the Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1 produces 295bhp and 251lb/ft of pulling power. The Cayman accelerates from 0-60mph in six seconds and on to a top speed of 171mph and bears three stripes along the top. The Edition 1 has been fitted with an Alcantara leather interior, three-spoke steering wheel and a new handbrake grip and gearbox lever. Porsche has also lowered the Cayman’s suspension and fitted a set of sleek 19-inch alloys. Just 777 Edition 1s will be built, with each model identifiable from a badge on the lid of the glovebox. Included in the package is a pocket knife, pair of sunglasses, keyring and a Porsche watch.
