Limited edition Peugeot 407 Coupe announced
24 January 2008 A limited edition Peugeot 407 Coupe HDi Bellagio featuring bigger alloys and more multi media has been announced. On top of the standard equipment on the French coupe, the Peugeot 407 HDi Coupe Bellagio will also feature sat-nav, Bluetooth connectivity and a 30GB hard drive for storing music. To smarten the 407 Coupe Bellagio up, Peugeot has fitted twin chrome exhausts and 18-inch alloys like the ones normally seen on the range-topping V6 models. The 2-litre diesel engine remains untouched, producing 136bhp and a hefty 240lb/ft of pulling power. This accelerates the three door Peugeot from 0-62mph (100kph) in 10.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 129mph, while the pulling power should ensure comfortable cruising and overtaking ability. The diesel engine also manages an average 48mpg while emitting 156g/km of carbon dioxide, meaning an annual tax bill of £140. Available in a choice of flamenco red or nera black metallic, the Peugeot 407 Coupe HDi Bellagio goes on sale in March with prices starting from £21,995. |
