Lamborghini Gallardo police car totalled
30 November 2009
It’s believed the driver of the super-police car was cut up by another motorist and was forced into the firing line of two parked cars – scooping the Merc onto the Lambo’s roof.
Reports from northern Italy suggest the police officers were not seriously injured in the incident in Cremona.
Second Park Lane Lamborghini prang in a week
The Gallardo suffered serious frontal damage and the Merc didn’t do too well either.
Lamborghini had presented the Italian State Police with the ‘Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia’ last year.
The Italian marque kitted out the 202mph cop car with features such as a fridge for transporting organs and a defibrillator.
Thirty police officers were given special training by Lamborghini test drivers so they could cope with the 5.2-litre V10 engine’s 560 horses.

Now the continuing writing off of Lamborghinis HAS TO STOP.
Earlier today we revealed a white Lamborghini Murcielago had suffered minor damage on Park Lane – a week after another white Murcielago was involved in an incident on Park Lane.
Then there was the groom who flipped one on his way to a wedding earlier this month and the Russian who was involved in a collision with a Golf while driving a Murcielago.

Couple this with the various Gallardos which went up in smoke earlier this year to go with the five Murcielagos stacked in April and you got three parties:
1. An angry insurance company paying up
2. A happy supercar dealer who’s about to get another sale
3. Legions of sad petrolheads mourning the loss of another supercar
