The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is already one of the world’s fastest GTs, but this hasn’t stopped a German tuning company from adding some more chilli to the recipe.

After stripping down the standard Ferrari 599, Edo Competition modifies the engine until it sings to the tune of 630bhp and is a close relation of the powerhouse found in the Enzo-based Ferrari FXX hypercar.

With a standard Ferrari 599 able to accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds, the Edo Competition Ferrari 630 Scuderia should be amongst the fastest accelerating road cars on the planet.

Even more attention has been given to the new body kit fitted to the Edo Competition Ferrari 630 Scuderia. The front valence has larger air intakes to feed and cool down the highly strung engine and massive front brakes.

Edo Competition claims its aggressive side skirts make the Ferrari more stable in crosswinds and improve rear brake cooling, as well as making it look more like a war horse than a prancing one.

And, a new undertray with a six blade, racing-style rear diffuser can be seen at the back of the car. Edo claims it improves stability and grip at high speed.

Modified components are built using lightweight carbon fibre and are said to shave more than 40kgs from the weight of the standard car.

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano costs £180,000 and there is a long waiting list which has pushed the price of nearly new examples for sale on Auto Trader over the £200k mark.

So expect to pay handsomely for an Edo Competition Ferrari 630 Scuderia.
