Hot Citroen DS3-R spied
09 February 2010
The DS3-Racing, as it’s expected to be called, will feature the same 1.6-litre, turbocharged engine as its British rival but with power boosted to over 200bhp. That sort of power puts it right at the top the current small hot hatch tree. The sprint from 0-62mph will take just 6.8 seconds.
The DS3-R will offer a link between Kimi Raikkonen’s new DS3 WRC rally car and your local showroom. Wider wheel arches, bigger wheels and lower suspension all give the DS3-R an aggressive stance to match its performance potential.
More details will be released when the car makes its official debut at the Geneva motor show on March 2.
