An £830,000 supercar has been involved in what has been dubbed the world’s costliest road crash.

The Sun reported today that a 253mph Bugatti Veyron – the most expensive production car on Earth – spun three times before being involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Astra.

According to an eyewitness, the front was completely ripped off with every panel damaged and the front wheels pointing in opposite directions.

Each Bugatti Veyron costs more than £5 million in research and development and is sold by Volkswagen at a loss.

It is the fastest production car EVER, accelerating from 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds before hitting 253mph.
