That man Ronaldo stayed in the news and was joined by fellow superstar David Beckham and the world’s most expensive new production car.

Ronaldo’s Bentley Continental for sale
As mentioned in the August round-up, Cristiano Ronaldo bought the registration plate CR7 for his Bentley Continental. 

But he decided to buy a Bentley Continental GTC Speed to wear the £150,000 plate – making his old GTC surplus to requirements.

With the sale and purchase of the Bentleys and his August escapades, we figured Ronaldo was involved in £700,000 worth of automotive dealings in one months.

David Beckham gets a black Porsche 911
Ronaldo is still a rookie when it comes to car collections when you compare him to another Man United legend – Mr David Beckham.

And in September, old Goldenballs was spotted behind the wheel of a blacked out Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet.

The latest addition to his garage will sit alongside the likes of a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe and Bentley Arnage.

World’s most expensive car for sale
Just like Ronaldo and Beckham are two of the most valuable footballers on the planet, the Koenigsegg CCX-R is the most expensive production car.

And one appeared on Auto Trader in September – for £1,500,000.

You get 1,018bhp from the biofuel-converted 4.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine which helps rocket the Swedish supercar from 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 254mph.

However, Christian Koenigsegg believes it will go considerably faster when tested in the right conditions.

Stealing styling cues from the Scirocco, the new GTI gets a power and new suspension while the exhausts are separated to allow the introduction of a rear diffuser.
