David Beckham has just taken delivery of his latest supercar – a Bentley Continental Supersports.

The LA Galaxy star was photographed in Beverly Hills yesterday in the two-seat Bentley which went on sale stateside in September.

Beckham, who has been buying matt black cars recently, opted to have the £163,000 Supersports in quartzite.

Debuting at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the Continental Supersports is Bentley’s fastest ever car.

To make it more hardcore and track-focussed, Bentley slashed the standard Continental GT Speed’s weight by 110kg and gave it a 20bhp increase to 620bhp.

This accelerates the Crewe Missile from 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 204mph. It’s also tuned to run on biofuel which should please the Prius-driving celebs of California. Maybe.

Beckham is the 17th person to take delivery of a Continental Supersports in the USA with 47 taking delivery worldwide.

His purchase continues his good relationship with the prestige British car maker having owned a Continental GTC and two Arnages.

David Beckham’s season with The Galaxy culminated with defeat on penalties at the MLS Cup.

The England legend – who slotted away his spot kick – is off on loan to AC Milan in January to enhance his chances of making next summer’s World Cup Finals in South Africa.

Beckham’s Bentley joins the family’s LA fleet which includes a new Range Rover, Cadillac Escalade, Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, two Porsche 911s and a Jeep Wrangler.
