Cheryl Cole's Audi R8 for sale

The Girls Aloud singer was the first owner of the 2007 Audi R8 FSI quattro, which was registered in her husband’s name, Chelsea and England player, Ashley Cole.

Cheryl Cole’s R8 is the latest celebrity-owned motor to appear for sale on Auto Trader. In the last week alone we’ve had an England star’s BMW M3, a Newcastle striker’s Range Rover Sport and Manchester United’s Audi A8 for sale on the site.

Cole’s German supercar packs a 420bhp 4.2-litre V8 engine, which takes it from 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 187mph.

The R8 comes fitted with LED daytime running lights, heated seats, a parking system, Audi sat-nav and an extensive carbon fibre engine pack.

Extras include a £4,795 full leather pack, which includes two-tone black and ivory verano leather and a £1,175 Bang and Olufsen sound system, ideal for blasting out the latest Girls Aloud track.

The Audi R8 has done 12,300 miles and the price includes an Audi warranty and private ‘R8’ number plate.

Cheryl Cole first hit our screens in 2002 when she won Popstars: The Rivals.

Girls Aloud have since achieved a string of 20 consecutive UK top ten singles – including four number ones – two number one albums, and five BRIT Awards nominations, winning Best Single in 2009 for "The Promise".

When Cheryl Cole married Chelsea and England star Ashley in 2006, she became one of the most prominent WAGs in the world.

In 2008, Simon Cowell announced she would be joining The X Factor as a judge and she promptly became known as ‘the nation’s sweetheart’.

Cole has now become the new face of L’Oreal and has established herself as a style icon, appearing on the covers of British Vogue, Glamour and Elle.

Since going on sale in 2007, the Audi R8 – Ingolstadt’s first supercar - has been a popular purchase among the rich and famous.

Owners include Simon Cowell, Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Ireland, Robbie Fowler, Jay Leno, Robert Downey Jr, Gary Barlow and David Hasselhoff.

Cheryl Cole’s Audi R8 is advertised for sale by a private seller, for £66,950.

There are more than 80 used Audi R8s for sale on Auto Trader, with prices starting at £56,000. If your budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, there are more than 1,700 used TTs, more than 270 used A8s and more than 3,300 used A3s for sale.
