A fully-kitted Range Rover Sport built for current WBA world light-welterweight champion Amir Khan is for sale on Auto Trader.
The Range Rover Sport was ordered new in 2008 to Khan’s bespoke specification – before he became a world champion.
Amir Khan competed in the 2005 Athens Olympics and was the sole boxing Olympian representing Britain. He took Silver, and embarked on his professional career.
With a succession of early wins showcasing his razor-sharp precision and lighting hands, Khan came unstuck when, in September 2008, he was floored twice inside the first round against Breidis Prescott, suffering his first pro defeat.

Under new trainer Freddie Roach, Khan came back with three wins, including legendary Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera (who defeated ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed), and Andreas Kotelnik, to win his first world title. It has recently been reported than Khan could be a match for Ricky Hatton in the near future.

Khan ordered this fully-loaded Range Rover early in 2008, which includes sat-nav, a TV, privacy glass, Bluetooth phone preparation, a ‘premium ice pack’, ‘Zebrano’ wood finish, side steps, chrome wing mirrors and luxury mats. Sellers A&A Performance Ltd note that “if you are the shy type, this vehicle is not for you”.
Performance comes courtesy of a 3.6-litre V8-powered diesel engine producing 272bhp and a prodigious 472lb/ft of punching power, meaning the near three-tonne leviathan will hit 62mph from rest in around 9 seconds.
Now you can snap up the Range Rover Sport built for a boxing world champ – which would have cost upwards of £60,000 – for £41,995.
